PCS Industries is pleased to announce the launch of the new DataMan 8000 series from Cognex. The DataMan 7500 has established itself as the market leader for direct part marked (DPM) code reading. The DataMan 8000 series builds on that pedigree by adding simpler options for communication, including Ethernet.The DataMan 8000 also offers an autofocus liquid lens allowing the same reader to be used closeup on tiny Datamatrix codes, or from a distance to read large linear codes. The DataMan 8000 series has superior reading capabilities, utilising both 1DMax & 2DMax algorithms.
